1st Annual Thanksgiving Holiday Turkey Giveaway

The STEM Future Foundation partnered with the City of Oakland, Parks, Recreation and Youth Development, the Oakland A’s, Safeway Inc., the Alameda County Food Bank, and several local nonprofit youth organizations, corporations and celebrity athletes to provide hunger relief for 10,000 of Oakland’s most vulnerable community members in need for the holiday season!
November 22, 2017 at DeFremery Park in West Oakland one thousand prepacked holiday gift bags filled with a 15-lb. turkey and all the trimmings to make healthy and delicious Thanksgiving dinners were given away- truly an amazing event!!!
